Blue Rapids Fire Department

Blue Rapids Rural Fire District #7,  located in Marshall County, Kansas, was established in the early 1900s. There is currently 30 personnel in the volunteer department with 9 trucks. Blue Rapids Rural Fire District #7 protects 110 square miles within the city of Blue Rapids. We have a mutual agreement with Marshall County that we will assist any department within our county but not limited to this county.

Welcome to the City of Blue Rapids, Kansas; The only Blue Rapids in America. Blue Rapids has hosted the Marshall county fair for 106 years. Home of the Round Town Square and the oldest Public Library in Kansas.
